Issue Position

Our current public education system in Colorado is failing our kids and putting their futures at risk. Our kids deserve better. No child should be forced to attend a failing school simply because of their address or their financial situation. But this is currently happening to thousands of kids in Colorado.

As someone who cares deeply about our Country's future and who has developed youth coaching programs, I am greatly concerned about how unfair our current educational system is to our kids, especially those who are forced to attend these failing schools. Schools need to be accountable to parents and parents need to have the option to move their kids out of these failing schools. This will help ensure all kids have an equal opportunity for a quality education.

If elected, I will stand with our kids and you, the parents, to allow for equal opportunity in education. By doing this, we will finally improve education for all our kids.
